Participating in the SMART program with Michelle was an incredible experience. I learned so much about myself, the way I react to stress and from where those reactions stem. I gained strategies to help me manage stressful situations and have incorporated those strategies into my life in the months after the program. I’ve also shared some of the stress management strategies with my family and my teenage son has told me he’s used them! I wish this stuff were taught in our schools! Michelle’s style in leading the group created a comfortable and safe place to share experiences and work on strategies. In the months since I finished the core course I’ve continued to use the strategies and can honestly say they make an incredibly positive impact on my life. Even though things aren’t always in my control (the past 2 years have taught us all that!) I am so much more confident and calm knowing I have all of these strategies to manage difficult situations and emotions when the arise. Highly recommend this program!!
